Your options
ExamLark is a product of Pravaralife Limited (www.pravaralife.com).
Request deletion of your entire account, or specify the personal data or sign-in connection you want removed. You can send a request even if you can no longer sign in. Requests are reviewed by the ExamLark team.
01. Send a deletion request
Contact ExamLark
Send your request to contactus@examlark.com with the subject ExamLark data deletion request.
The button opens your email app. If it does not open, copy the address and send an email using your preferred service.
If you can sign in to the mobile app, open Support, choose Privacy, then select Request account deletion and send the request. Our team reviews it; sending it does not immediately delete the account. The email route below works without signing in.
Identify your ExamLark account
Where possible, email us from the address registered with ExamLark. Include your account email address, the name of the exam app you use and your sign-in method (for example, Facebook).
Tell us what you want deleted
State whether you want to close the entire account and delete its associated personal information, or only remove particular data or a provider connection. For a Facebook-data request, say that you used Facebook Login.
Check your email for our reply
If you cannot access the registered address, explain that in your request. We may ask for limited additional information to verify ownership before taking action.
Keep your credentials private. Do not include your password, one-time codes, access tokens or full payment-card details. We do not need your Facebook password to handle a request.
02. What happens next
We review your request, verify ownership where necessary, and confirm the scope before deleting the relevant records. Removing the only sign-in method can prevent further access, so tell us if you want to keep the account using another available method.
We will reply to explain the outcome and any information we need to retain. Where UK or EU data-protection rules apply, a response is normally due within one month, subject to the rules on identity verification and extensions. If an extension or exception applies, we will explain it.
For a status update, reply to the same email conversation. Sending a request or opening the email link does not itself delete your account.
03. What the request covers
An entire-account deletion request covers personal information associated with the account in ExamLark’s live systems, subject to any applicable retention requirement. This includes:
- Your account profile, email address, stored password hash where applicable, and active application sessions.
- Linked social sign-in information, including Facebook-related identity information and the associated authentication records handled through Supabase.
- Account-linked content access records, trials, free allocations and download grants.
- Support, subscription and billing-verification information where it is no longer needed and no retention exception applies.
Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, transaction disputes, fraud prevention or security. Where that applies, we will explain the categories and reason. Backup copies may remain until their applicable rotation removes them. We cannot promise immediate erasure from every backup.
Account deletion removes the account’s ability to sign in and obtain new content. It does not erase your Facebook, Apple, Google or Microsoft account, or records those companies independently maintain. It also cannot remotely wipe an offline device.
04. Remove Facebook access
You can separately disconnect ExamLark from Facebook:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Find Apps and websites. Menu names and placement may vary by device.
- Select ExamLark, choose Remove and confirm.
Open Facebook’s Apps and websites settings ↗
Removing Facebook access does not delete your ExamLark account or information already held by ExamLark. Send the request described above if you want that information deleted. If Facebook is your only sign-in method, disconnecting it can prevent you from signing in.
05. Manage subscriptions separately
Deleting your ExamLark account does not automatically cancel a subscription or issue a refund. For Apple App Store or Google Play purchases, cancel renewal in the relevant store. For a website or direct Android subscription billed through Stripe, contact billing@examlark.com to request cancellation or review the billing portal if available in your account. See our subscriptions and refunds guidance.
Store transaction records are governed by the store’s own retention requirements. Tell us about an unresolved purchase issue when you contact us so it can be considered alongside your deletion request.
06. Remove information from your device
Downloaded content, answers, bookmarks and study progress may remain in the app’s offline storage after a server-side deletion. Signing out alone does not necessarily remove that information.
- Android: use your device’s app settings to clear ExamLark’s storage/data, and uninstall the relevant exam app if you no longer need it.
- iPhone or iPad: delete the relevant exam app rather than offloading it; offloading can preserve app data.
- Web browser: sign out and clear ExamLark’s cookies and site storage if you want to remove local browser information.
Repeat this for each device and ExamLark exam app you use. Your operating system or cloud backup service may keep separate copies; review its backup settings as well. Clearing or uninstalling the app does not send an account-deletion request.
